Recognised for his excellence in Professional service in Pulmonary Medicine, Dr. Rao, served as the Superintendent of Chest & TB Hospital, Visakhapatnam the dedicated specialised tertiary care centre in the District Head Quarters. He also served as the Secretary for AP State for the National TB Eradication Programme and for his immense contribution to medical science, KIMS has recognised his talent by appointing him the Head of Pulmonary Medicine Department at KIMS.
Dr. S. Rajkumar, the head of the General Surgery Dept, has graduated with an MBBS in the state from RMC, Kakinada and completed his post graduation in General Surgery from AMC, Visakhapatnam as University Topper. Dr. M.B.R. Sarma is the head of General Medicine and has an excellent academic record and vast clinical experience. He has completed his graduation from GMC, Guntur and postgraduate studies from RMC, Kakinada and has served as the Principal of Govt. Medical College, Director of Medical Education, state of AP and many other significant positions with precision. With more than 50 papers and journals in publishing, Dr. Sarma has been appointed as Director in Academics and has been awarded with the opportunity to look into the academic affairs of KIMS with the same rigor and determination.
